Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Unreel Recipes mobile application (the "App") provided by AutoCreation Studio LLC ("AutoCreation Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
- The App may create an anonymous account for you on first launch so you can use it immediately. You may convert that account to a full account by signing in with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.
- You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the App and for any activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date.
- You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation with anyone, or choose a handle that is misleading or infringes someone else's rights. We may reclaim handles in our reasonable discretion.
3. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you downloaded the App.
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Use the App in any way that would violate the terms of service of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform from which you submit video URLs.
- Use the App to harass, threaten, defame, or harm other users.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, or anti-fraud measures (including by spoofing device identifiers).
- Use the App to extract recipes from videos containing content you do not have the right to use.
- Submit URLs that contain unlawful, infringing, or sexually explicit material.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.
4. Your content
4.1 Recipes you save and edit
You retain ownership of the recipes you save and any edits you make. By saving a recipe in the App you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, sync, and display that recipe solely for the purpose of operating the App for you — for example, to back it up across your devices and to deliver it to friends you choose to share it with. We do not claim any ownership of your recipes and we do not use them to train machine-learning models.
4.2 Recipes shared with friends
When you share a recipe with a friend, you authorise us to deliver a snapshot of that recipe to their account. Your friend may save the snapshot to their own collection. You can stop future sharing by removing the friendship, but recipes you have already shared remain with the recipient.
4.3 Source videos
Recipes extracted by the App are derived from public videos hosted on third-party platforms. The original videos and their creators' rights remain with their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of a given video complies with that platform's terms and applicable copyright law. We are not responsible for content available at the URLs you submit.
5. Recipe extraction is provided as-is
The App uses automated services (including third-party scrapers and large-language-model providers) to parse video captions and metadata into structured recipes. These outputs are best-effort and may contain mistakes — including, but not limited to, wrong ingredients, wrong quantities, wrong cooking times, and missing steps.
You must use your own judgement before cooking. We are not responsible for any allergic reaction, foodborne illness, injury, property damage, or other harm resulting from following an extracted recipe. If you have a food allergy or medical condition, consult an appropriate professional before relying on any recipe from the App.
6. Free tier, ads, credits, and subscriptions
6.1 Free, ad-supported tier
The App is free to download. On the free tier, some features are subject to daily usage limits, and ads may be shown. You may earn additional extraction credits by watching opt-in rewarded video ads, subject to a daily cap.
6.2 Credit packs (consumable)
You can purchase one-time credit packs through the App. Credits are consumable, non-refundable except as required by the app store's policies, and have no cash value. Credits do not expire while your account is active but may be forfeited if your account is terminated for violation of these Terms.
6.3 Premium subscription
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Pricing and benefits are described in the App at the time of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation, refund, and renewal are managed through your Apple ID or Google account; we cannot process these directly.
6.4 Changes to pricing
We may change prices or feature inclusions for future billing periods. We will surface material changes in the App and, where required, ask for your consent before charging the new price.
7. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by signing out and uninstalling it. You may permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Delete Account & Data. Deleting an account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the applicable store.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if (a) you violate these Terms; (b) we are required to do so by law; (c) the App is being withdrawn from the market; or (d) we reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently. On termination, the licence granted in Section 3 ends and Sections 4.1 (your retained ownership), 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF EXTRACTED RECIPE DATA. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; the above exclusions may not apply to you in full.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTOCREATION STUDIO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoCreation Studio LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the App in violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right (including the terms of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform whose URLs you submit), or (c) any recipe or other content you save, edit, or share through the App.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which AutoCreation Studio LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
12. App-store-specific terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and AutoCreation Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded the App from Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is not responsible for the App or for handling claims relating to it.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and surface a notice in the App for material changes. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your only recourse is to stop using the App.
